Body UC: Augmented Reality Anatomy Explorer
Brief Description An immersive educational AR application that allows users to visualize, manipulate, and interact with detailed 3D models of 10 different human organs in their physical environment. It features interactive anatomical segmentations and real-time information labels using spatial exploration mechanics.
Role Lead XR Developer. Responsible for core C# programming, UI state management architecture, and spatial tracking implementation.
Technologies Unity 3D, C# Scripting, Vuforia Engine (integrated Image Tracking and Plane Finder systems).
Problem or Need Addressed Addressed the spatial limitations of traditional 2D study methods. The application resolves the difficulty of understanding complex, segmented anatomy by providing an interactive tool that enhances spatial retention for health sciences students.
Results Developed a highly optimized AR application maintaining a stable 30 FPS on mobile devices. Achieved seamless synchronization between model texture changes and informational canvas activation, resolving type mismatch issues in the state logic.

Project Name Pablo Palacio's Room: AudioStories AR Portal
Brief Description An immersive Augmented Reality portal developed as an experiential marketing product for AudioStories. Users physically walk through an AR portal into a virtual recreation of the Ecuadorian writer's room, utilizing environmental storytelling and interactive objects to trigger audio excerpts from his literary works.
Role XR Developer & Environment Designer. Programmed the portal mechanics, raycasting interactions, and audio synchronization. Designed the spatial composition, lighting, and strategic placement of 3D assets to guide the player's attention.
Technologies Unity 3D, C# Scripting, AR Foundation / Vuforia (Portal Mechanics, Stencil Shaders, Spatial Tracking).
Problem or Need Addressed Addressed the challenge of engaging new, younger audiences with classic Ecuadorian literature through traditional channels. The project provides a gamified marketing solution that transforms audiobook discovery into an interactive, memorable spatial experience.
Results Delivered a fully functional XR marketing prototype utilizing stencil shaders for seamless optical portal illusions. Implemented an adaptive spatial UX featuring a "Reposition Portal" mechanic, ensuring accessibility, stability, and a smooth user experience regardless of the player's physical space constraints.
